With 10 new cases today, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally reaches 120

KATHMANDU, May 11: Nepal has reported ten more COVID-19 cases on Monday morning.

According to Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, the assistant spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), all the patients are males (aged 18, 19, 20, 20, 24, 30, 31, 34, 34) from Kapilvastu district. The age of one of them has yet to be ascertained.

The swab samples of those patients from Yashodhara Rural Municipality-5, Budhhabhumi Municipality-7 and 10 were diagnosed with this deadly disease at the Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory.

Dr Adhikari informed them that they are in regular contact with the medics and have normal health conditions.

With this, total COVID-19 cases confirmed in Nepal have jumped to 120. Province 5 alone has 40 cases.

Of the total cases in Nepal,  33 have recovered while no death has been reported yet.
